PUMP FAMILY
Fluoroplastic-Lined Magnetic Drive Pump (sealless + lined)
Sealless containment plus a wetted path the chemistry cannot touch — for the acids that eat alloys.
Combines a PTFE/PFA wetted path with a sealless magnetic coupling. The safest mainstream answer for hazardous corrosive media.
The envelope
| Recommended temperature | ≤ 150 °C |
|---|---|
| Delivered-evidence ceiling | 150 °C |
| Sealing | Sealless — magnetic coupling, lined wetted path |
| Design basis | ISO 2858 envelope (lined, sealless) |
Where it is used
- Hydrochloric acid, mixed acids and other media that defeat stainless and specialty alloys
- Corrosive and hazardous services where both containment and corrosion resistance are mandatory
- Duties where a lined pump would do, but leakage is not acceptable
Where it stops
- The liner sets the temperature limit: 150 °C, no exceptions offered by the construction
- Liner damage is a rebuild, not a repair — abrasive solids and cavitation are disqualifying
- Vacuum and suction-lift duties need an explicit liner-support statement from the manufacturer
The 150 °C liner limit is a materials fact, published consistently across manufacturers; no delivered-evidence exception exists.
